GREETINGS OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR!
Your children never cease to amaze me with the way in
which they settle into the routine of school so quickly and comfortably. Yes, there were some tears, but there were
more from parents than from students.
And there was a great deal of nervous excitement, and that was as much
from the teachers and the students!
Thank you for preparing your children well for this first day and, as
always, to the teachers for their warm welcome to the students.
Our chapel service at the church tomorrow will be
only for students in grades one through eight.
Because our youngest students take a little more time establishing a
routine, we felt that they would benefit from having chapel in their own
commons this week. Preschool through
eighth grade will assemble for next week’s all-school chapel service in the
church, and we will let our toddler parents know when they begin coming to that
service. Our new chaplain, Megan
Castellan, will be conducting these services and we hope you’ll introduce
yourselves to her if you join us for a chapel service.
There’ll be more news in the regular Monday Morning Memo
on Monday, but I wanted to assure you that your children are doing well and let
you know about tomorrow’s chapel services.
Enjoy your day and welcome to or back to St. Paul’s!
